No Excuses!

I have no excuse as why I am so lazy about posting lately. I just haven't wanted to take the time to sit down and do this. I decided that today is the day because I am so far behind. I can't even try to catch up. So here is my post. It's pretty random but oh well. At least I did it.

Last month Jarom's Grandpa Shelt passed away. I was actually in Logan with my family when he died. So instead of having me come all the way back to St. George for the funeral and then back to Idaho for the burial Allie and I stayed up in Logan and then met up with Jarom in Idaho. I was sad that wasn't able to be there for the actual funeral but the burial was beautiful. So, I ended up being in Logan for 10 days. That was a long time to be without Jarom. Allie and I sure missed him and we were very happy to see him again. Here is a photo of Jarom's siblings and spouses at his grandpa's burial.

This is just a cute picture of Allie at the lazy river here in St. George. She's getting so big. Plus I think that this is one photo where Allie really looks like me.

Okay embarrassing story... I don't just post pictures of my bottom. The other day at work one of the doctors dropped a chart on the floor. I bent over to pick it up for them and "RIP". Yup...I ripped my pants. Kind of embarrassing. Luckily I had a sweater on so I took it off and put it over my bottom and walked into the social workers office. I was very embarrassed. Needless to say I had to go home and change my pants.

We had both Jarom and my birthday in July. Jarom got me a bike trailer. It's been a lot of fun to be able to ride it with Allie. Now if only it would cool off here so that I could use it a little more. We are still in the 90's during the day. A little to warm for a ride to the park.

Jarom took the Nevada bar at the end of July. He forgot to take his tennis shoes with him and couldn't get into the bar with his flip-flops. He had to go to Wal-mart at 7:00am to get some shoes that he could get into the bar with. These are the beauty's that he found. The picture really doesn't do them justice but we had got a good laugh out of his Wal-mart shoes that he had to buy. No other store was open at 7:00am.

While in Vegas we celebrated my 35th birthday. Jarom and Allie bought me a cake and decorated the hotel room. It was a good birthday. Jarom always does the cutest things for me. He's such a sweet heart.

We ate at this really yummy place called Diego's while in Vegas. Here are Jarom and Allie waiting for the food.

Here are some random photo's that we took while in Vegas. It was HOT while we were there.

We also celebrated Jarom's 33rd birthday. I made him a cute golf course cake. It was fun to make.

Getting ready to blow out the candles.

A close up of my work.

Allie decided that she needed to wear Jarom's socks one evening. Here she is after she put them on. A little big. They look like leg warmers.

Jarom and I at Blake's (my sister-in-law Kambria's little boy) birthday party in the "photo booth". It was pretty funny.

And her is cute Allie and her cousin Gus. They love each other.

Other news in our house? We still aren't pregnant. I'm kind of sad about it but what can you do? This has been a very difficult thing for us. I just keep praying and hoping that it will happen for us one day. Right now I just enjoy every minute that I have with Allie. It sure makes me love her just that much more.

Jarom got a new job! Yup...he randomly applied for a job in Cedar City that was posted on the Utah Bar website that was in Cedar City. He interviewed by phone one day, went to lunch with them the next day, and was offered the job the following day. It was so fast. It's with the firm called Kyler, Kholer, Ostermiller, and Sorensen. It is really an answer to our prayers. Although his other job has been good it just was a little shaky. This job is more what he likes to do, pays better, and has been around for quite a while. Right now he is commuting to Cedar City. We are not sure right now if we are going to stay in St. George or move to Cedar. Nothing is going to happen anytime soon. We like where we are at and are planning on staying for a while longer. Anyway, that's life for now.
