So, this weekend I decided that I wanted to try my hand at making something new and different for dessert. I bought a trifle bowl and wanted to give it a try. I found this delicious recipe that is really called Tiramisu Bowl (since it calls for coffee) but I will just call it a Chocolate Trifle since I didn't use any coffee. Here is the recipe and some pictures. It's super easy to make and I suggest that you make it and give it a try. It is so yummy!
What you need:
1pkg(8oz) cream cheese softened
3 cups cold milk
2 pkgs, Jello Instant Pudding
1 tub(8oz) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed and divided
48 Nilla Waffers
1/2 cup chocolate milk
2 squares baker's semi-sweet chocolate, grated
1 cup fresh strawberries (or berry of your choice)
Directions:
Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Beat in milk and pudding mixes. Stir in 2 cups Cool Whip.
Line 21/2 qt. bowl with 24 wafers; drizzle with 1/4 cup chocolate milk. Top with half each of pudding mixture and chocolate. Repeat all layers.
Top with remaining Cool Whip and berries. Refrigerate 2 hours. Eat and enjoy!
