25 Random Facts

I've been tagged. (Technically on facebook by my sister-in-law Savanah and I decided to put it on both my blog and facebook).

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you

1. When I was about five years old I had a pretend friend named Karen. Once day I decided that I didn't need her any more and told everyone that she had moved to Hawaii.

2. I have shook the hand of the President of the United States (I'm not proud to say that it was Pres. Clinton. But hey...he was still the President. That counts for something doesn't it?).

3. I didn't go on my mission until I was 23 years old. It took that long for the spirit to finally get me out there. It was the best decision that I ever made (along with marring Jarom).

4. I enjoy balancing the check book to the penny and seeing exactly where our money is going and what we are spending it on. I try to do it a couple times a month. We have a budget that we live by and I try to stay right on track with it.

5. I am a very clean person and I like to have a place for everything. Clutter drives me crazy and I'm always throwing things away. I also like to make sure that the faucets and taps are spot free. I almost always shine them after every use (Jarom does this for me too. What a good man!). I hate to clean on Saturday so I wake up early a couple week day mornings to clean our apartment so that we can play on Saturday.

6. I like to exercise and I really love to run. My dream is to one day run in a marathon just to say that I have done it.

7. I am a closet fan of the song Cotton Eyed Joe and even have it on my Ipod. I still listen to it even though everyone makes fun of me.

8. I have to shower and wash my hair every morning. I can't stand the way I feel if I don't. I also like to shower most nights before I go to bed. It helps me relax and also get warm.

9. I am always cold. I hate winter for this very reason. I often have cold hands and feet. Hence the reason for me having to take a shower before I go to bed. To warm up. I can not sleep if I'm cold and I can't fall asleep until my feet are warm.

10. I bought my first car when I was a freshman in college for $1200.00.

11. I love the color pink!

12. I have gained about 20lbs being pregnant.

13. I love my job but really hope that I can stay home with our little baby Allie when she comes. If not... hopefully I won't have to work to long until I can stay home.

14. I enjoy cooking and baking. I like to make bread, rolls, and cinnamon rolls.

15. I really enjoy all sports. Except football that is. How Jarom and I ended up being together is beyond me since that is his favorite sport. He knew I didn't like it before I married him. There were no surprises there!

16. I play the piano and wish that I had one in my home so that I could play it more often.

17. I love pajama pants and would wear them all day everyday if I could. Especially right now being pregnant and fat. They are the most comfortable thing to wear ever. I put them on as soon as I get home from work.

18. Every week I make a menu for what were are going to eat the next week and then make a list with the ingredients I need to buy to make the meals that I have planned before I go to the grocery store. I try to only go to the grocery store once a week and most weeks I do pretty good with that.

19. I am not a fan of mashed potatoes. I will eat them if I have to but I really don't like them very much.

20. I love to travel and wish that I had more money and time to travel. I would love to go to Europe, Hawaii, and on a cruise.

21. I have an old sweatshirt that is about 18 years old that I wear to bed. My sister gave it to me and it is the prefect weight for me to sleep in since I get cold. It has some small holes that are starting to develop on the cuff of the sleeve. Jarom keeps telling me that I just need to get rid of it but I just can't seem to part with it.

22. I once did a back flip off of our trampoline when I was a kid. I landed on my back and it knocked the wind out of me and I have never been able to do a back flip since that day.

23. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July with Christmas very close behind it. Why you ask? Because it is warm and you can be outside! Plus I just love to see the fireworks light up the sky.

24. I am a hopeless romantic and love any movie that has a sappy love story.

25. I love spending time with family and really REALLY hope that we can move back to Utah in the very near future so we can be closer.
