California Slides!

So, last Saturday Jarom and I were driving out of our neighborhood to run some errands. There is a four way stop near our house that really shouldn't there. It's right in the middle of the neighborhood and just doesn't make sense. Anywho, Jarom was driving and when he came to the stop sign he stopped, but he didn't make a complete stop. Soon after he said "I hope that was a complete enough stop because there is a cop over there. Well, sure enough...we saw flashing lights in the rear view mirror and a police officer on a motor cycle pulled up on the drivers side of the car. Jarom rolled his window down and the officer then proceeds to ask Jarom if he lives in the area and if he saw the stop sign. The police officer then asks Jarom "Why didn't you stop? You know this isn't California!" Jarom apologized and said he thought he stopped but it must have not been complete. Luckily the officer just said he was giving out warnings and that he would be in the neighborhood sometimes again and he would be giving out tickets. Whew! I didn't have a whole lot to say since I have gotten two traffic violations myself in the last six months. A $100 lane change violation and an $81.00 speeding ticket in Wyoming on our way home to get married. Don't worry I'm supplying the law with their paychecks! All I have to say is that I am so glad that Jarom was driving because I'm sure I would have done the exact same thing and I didn't need one more story of Mindy being pulled over by a police officer. Jarom sure is a lucky boy is all I have to say. Why am I not that lucky?
