Halloween was great fun this year! My family came out to Denver to visit. It was so fun to have family here for a holiday. They were supposed to be here on Wednesday night but because of the unusual snowstorm that we got they didn't make it here until Friday. I was very happy to have them finally get here. This was Allie's first Halloween. We call her "Allie Gator" and decided that for Halloween that she should be and alligator. Here she is all dressed up. I found the costume on eBay. It was $7.00 total with the shipping. Just right for her first Halloween.
Here is her little alligator tail.
We went to my brother's house on Halloween day. He lives in southern Colorado. One of our nephews was getting baptized. Here is a picture of all the grand kids dressed up (minus my sister and her family). As you can see Allie could care less about Halloween this year.
This is a picture of my parents and Allie.
My older brother David holding Allie and our nephew Trevor who just got baptized.
My brother and his family being silly for a picture that I wanted to take. I just love them. Family is the greatest!
This is us outside the front of our house on Halloween morning before we were getting in the car to head to my brothers house. As you can see we got a little snow in Denver. That was after a day of melting too. The picture doesn't do the snow that we got here in Denver justice. I'm glad that it has all melted and that it is warm again. I'm not ready for winter to be here quite yet.
We had a very good weekend. I'm so thankful for those that made the effort to come and visit. I love and miss you all. Only a few more weeks and we will be home for Thanksgiving. I'm already counting down the days!
