Swearing in

Yesterday was a big day for us. Jarom was sworn into the Colorado Bar Association. It was a very neat experience. It was an actual court session. The 7 Colorado Supreme Court Justices were there. They had us all stand and rise when they walked into the room. They were all wearing their robes. The actual meeting only lasted about 35-40 minutes. They had a couple of speakers and then the 600 or so lawyers that were being sworn in all stood up and raised their right arm and repeated what the Chief Supreme Court Justice said. It was a very neat session to be a part of. I was so proud of Jarom. Here are a few pictures. They aren't very good but I thought that I would post them anyway.

These are the 7 Supreme Court Justices. The Chief Supreme Court Justice (the woman with the blond hair) did the swearing in (sorry it's kind of dark).

This is the back of Jarom during the swearing in. He is repeating what the Supreme Court Chief Justice is saying and raising his right arm.

This is during the swearing in.

This is Jarom and I after the swearing in. Oh, I got my hair cut too. This is my new hair. I like it!

Mindy I love your new hair cut. I'm also jealous. Jeremy was sworn into the Utah Bar last year while we were living in Virginia. We didn't buy a ticket for me to fly to Utah because it was too expensive...well, this weekend Jeremy is flying to Washington DC to be sworn into the DC Bar (and now we live in Utah) and once again I will not be there. What's up with that? And why do we keep paying airline tickets for him to be sworn into Bars? Oh well...
