PAR 3!

This past weekend was extra nice for Jarom and I. Last week was crazy busy for both of us at work. Jarom was in a jury trial all week long and put in lots of long hours. On Friday when he left work the judge told Jarom that he wasn't coming in on Monday and told Jarom that if he wanted to take the day off on Monday he could too. So, on Saturday I decided to call my co-worker and see if I could take Monday off too. We both ended up with a three day weekend and it was so nice. It's amazing what you can do with an extra day! We ended up going golfing at a Par 3 course yesterday morning. It was a very nice course. I had so much fun playing. I haven't really golfed that much and I'm not very good so it was nice to go to a smaller course. I even got a par on one of the holes. The first time in my entire life! I was so proud of myself. Especially because Jarom got one over par on that hole. The only time I did better than Jarom the whole game. He won by quite a bit. It was still so much fun to just be outside enjoying the nice weather. Afterwards we went and ate at Spicy Pickle. It was just a very relaxing day. I really enjoyed spending time with Jarom. We have not had much time or money this whole summer to play a whole lot so it was great to have a day just to play.
